Take the quick quiz to find the best lens colour for your lifestyle, activities and needs.
Superior colour technology.
NuPolar is available in the most important colours to fit every lifestyle need while never sacrificing polarized performance. All of NuPolar lens colours have high polarization efficiency (the highest achievable at 99%).
Some polarized lenses are available in light tints or colours that have low polarization efficiency. Additionally, many of the colours in the market are so light and washed out; they cannot even be considered polarizers. Making matters worse, most of these lenses lack heat stability so the colour changes even more during post-processing.
Using NuPolar’s proprietary HT Film Technology, NuPolar products are the most colour stable and consistent polarized lenses available with high polarization efficiency.
In research, 86% of eyecare professionals stated NuPolar is available in a good range of lens colours¹.
Lens Colours

Dark Grey (Grey 3)
Most popular sun lens colour and good general-purpose lens. A lens colour enjoyed by nature lovers because colours are not altered and remain true to their original hue. Excellent for bright sunny conditions providing maximum blinding glare protection and help to reduce eye strain and fatigue.

Light Grey (Grey 1)
A lighter grey lens with 65% tint for less bright conditions. Effective for people that require more light to reach their eye, while benefiting from the vibrancy, contrast and depth perception of polarization. In low light, good colour perception is maintained. Can effectively be tinted to another desired colour without affecting polarization efficiency.

Brown
A true, deep, rich brown that provides superior contrast and depth perception with green and red colours especially highlighted. Performs well in bright sunny conditions but also perfect to brighten vision on overcast days, and in low light and fog. Good for activities whereby distances need to be judged. For all day use, a brown lens is a soothing colour. Brown blocks high amounts of blue light.

Green
Many fashion-conscious wearers desire a grey-green coloured lens. Maintains good colour perception and improved contrast compared with a grey lens. A green lens reduces glare while also brightens shadow. It can reduce eyestrain in bright light. As a good general-purpose lens, it is can enhance vision on both bright days and in overcast conditions.

Copper
High contrast lens that provides colour definition, high contrast and improves depth perception. Cuts through blue light which is often seen as ‘haze’. Highlights reds and greens. An excellent lens for driving in varying light conditions. Can be effective at certain times of the day such as dawn or dusk. Blocks high amounts of blue light.
